The lockdown has come with a lot of restrictions for our own safety. But! that doesn't mean music lessons stop. Many music teachers are going virtual which actually increases your pool of choice as a teacher can be in a different part of the world. Both singing and instrumental lessons can be conducted from the comfort of your home. If you have the instrument with you at home the better. Face to face is not encouraged/allowed in some parts of the world at the moment unless strict measures to curb the spread are observed.

 

What do music lessons cost?

Music lesson costs varies from place to place also country to country. In Zimbabwe it can be anywhere between $10usd and $40usd per 30 min lesson depending on the the level you are and who is tecahing you.

 

How do online music lessons work?

There many video call applications you can use for example Zoom, Skype, Whats app video call, Google Meet amongst many others. Through this the teacher delivers instruction on the particular subject guiding you on technique and all you need to know just like face to face. Although many still prefer face to face, online allows you to be more flexible with your lesson schedule.
